Daniel Barker

Dan has been involved in the construction industry since 1993 when he started working as a residential roofer to earn money for college. He later earned his commercial roofing license and went on to add a general construction license. Dan worked as a commercial roofing contractor for 7 years before starting his own successful roofing business. In 2001 Dan sold his roofing business and began his career as a manufacturer’s rep and consultant. He has owned and operated Division 7 Specialties since 2001 where he has had the privilege of working with many great manufacturers, contractors, architects, consultants and general contractors. In 2021 Dan brought in Justin Spencer as a partner in the company and rebranded the company Division 7 BEC. Justin has been with the company since 2006.

Ever since he was a young boy Dan has loved construction. He developed his love and passion for construction at an early age while helping his dad and grandpa with construction projects around the house and on the farm. He now finds great joy and satisfaction in helping others design and build projects all throughout the regions of UT, ID, MT and WY.

In his spare time, Dan loves spending time with his beautiful wife and three kids. They love family road trips and have traveled all over the United States. They love visiting historical sites and museums as well as national parks. Disney parks are also a favorite.

Dan loves anything to do with the outdoors including hiking, camping, fishing, horseback riding and hunting. When he is not enjoying one of those activities you can usually find him working in the yard or garden. He loves working with plants and flowers.
